The Lil Tigers class concentrates on Gym-Kata, which is a combination of gymnastic skills and martial arts. The children will learn how to kick, punch, basic grappling and sparring (mild contact) along with headstands, handstands, cartwheels, various types of shoulder rolls & hand springs.
Excellent in developing hand/eye coordination, and developing an overall positive and mannered individual.
Games are incorporated into the class to learn about fair play, listening and just having fun! Discipline is also a key factor in class.
There are also discussions about bullying, when it’s appropriate to use the skills they have learned, and basic anatomy.
